Turn speech into captions automatically, then edit the text, font and style. Burn them into the video.
Record a voice-over, extract audio from any video (like CapCut), add music and sounds from your library.
Add titles, overlays and photos, color filters, smooth zoom keyframes and transitions between clips.

BrickCut makes long brick-building and speed-build recordings short and watchable in a few clicks.
Yes. Try the demo or use the free plan. Paid plans give more storage and no watermark.
No. It runs in your web browser on Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone.
Yes. Pick a 9:16 canvas, add a blurred background, subtitles and text, and export.
It covers the main CapCut tools – cutting, subtitles, voice-over, extract audio, text, filters, zoom and transitions – without installing an app.
You can't add videos with your account. Ask the admin if you need to.
Open this on your phone or another PC:
A project puts clips from your videos on one timeline, with separate sound rows (like CapCut): detach the sound of a clip, swap the picture, add music.
Sounds you saved or uploaded: use them as music or a sound effect in any video or project.
🔒 Other people's videos and projects are private. You see them blurred, and can only open one when its owner shared it with you (use "Ask for access"), or when you flagged the owner for suspected illegal content. Every look is written down in Activity.
Cut the boring bits out of your videos and export them in the right shape for YouTube, TikTok, Reels, Shorts or Instagram. You cut in your browser and the app does the heavy work; your original file is never changed.
Drop a video on the box on the Videos page, or click the box to choose one. Most formats work: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI and more.
Pick Cut by hand at the top right of the editor.
Zoom into the timeline with the − / + buttons, the slider, + / −, or by pinching on a phone or tablet. When zoomed in, the strip shows the real frames at that spot, so you can cut on the exact frame. , and . step one frame back or forward.
For LEGO build videos: BrickCut listens for the click of a brick snapping on and keeps only those moments.
Your BrickCut settings are saved to your account, on every device.
In Cut by hand, under "Effects between parts", choose how kept parts flow into each other: a hard cut, crossfade, fade through black or white, wipes, slides, zoom and more. Give one join its own effect in the Parts list, and preview it with ▶. You can also fade in at the start and out at the end.
The Mirror card flips the picture left ↔ right (handy for front-camera videos) and/or upside down. You see it right away and every export uses it.
The Speed card sets the speed of the whole clip, from 0.25× (slow motion) to 8× (fast). Give one part its own speed with the small speed button in the Parts list (for example a boring bit at 4×); pick Clip there to use the clip's speed again. The sound stays in sync and keeps its normal pitch. The preview plays at these speeds, and the Parts list and the Speed card show the final length.
Under the timeline you see the sound wave. Ctrl+click anywhere on it to open a small menu: add a Volume dot, Fade in, Fade out, Mute, Quieter or Louder right there (effects start 2 seconds long). You can also drag across it to pick an exact stretch. Drag the edges of a coloured block to change it; click it to play or remove it. Every kept part has orange dots at its start and end: drag them to fade that part in or out. Double-click the sound wave to place a volume dot, then drag it up/down (volume) and left/right (time); the sound moves smoothly from dot to dot. Click a dot to set its volume exactly or remove it. The Sound card has the volume of the whole clip, the effects, Even out the loudness, Remove background noise and Background music (it gets quieter by itself while someone talks).
The lines follow your cuts and speed changes: lines in parts you cut out are left out, and the rest move to the right moment.
Under Your projects, click + New project. Add videos from Media; they go one after another on the video row. Upload music or sounds; they go on the sound rows. Select a block to Split, Delete, Mute, change Speed, Volume or Fades. Hold Ctrl and click to select several blocks (on a phone: ☑ Select), then change them all at once. Extract audio puts a clip's sound on its own row: then you can delete or Replace the video and the sound keeps playing over the new picture. On a phone the tools are big buttons at the bottom; choose the layout yourself in your account menu.
Move any card in the editor (Subtitles, Parts, Effects, Mirror, Speed and the cutting tool) by dragging it by the ⠿ at its top left: up or down, or between the right panel and the row under the timeline. Your layout is saved to your account. Reset layout under the right panel puts everything back.
Earlier exports stay listed in the Export window, so you can download them again later.
Click your name at the top right to change your email address, username or password, upgrade your plan, or log out. Add an email address so you can get a new password if you forget it ("Forgot password?" on the login page).

1 video, and 1 export cut by hand plus 1 export with BrickCut. That's enough to try both ways of cutting. When you want more, click your name → Upgrade or change plan.
Click your name at the top right → Upgrade or change plan. Pick a plan, click Buy on Gumroad, pay, and paste the license key from your Gumroad receipt. You switch right away.
In the receipt email Gumroad sends after you pay, and in your Gumroad library (gumroad.com → Library). It looks like XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX. Copy it exactly; spaces don't matter.
Check that the key is from the receipt of exactly the plan you picked (a Starter key doesn't work for Pro), that the purchase wasn't refunded, and that the subscription is still running. A key works for one account only.
Your videos are kept, but you can't add, cut or export until the plan runs again. A box on your Videos page lets you renew on Gumroad and paste the new key. Cancelled subscriptions keep working until the paid period ends.
For some plans the admin checks every new account first. You'll get an email when you can log in (if email is set up); otherwise try again later.
Click Forgot password? on the login page and fill in your username or email. You'll get a link to choose a new one. No email address on your account? Then the admin gets your request and sends you a link.
Yes: click your name at the top right. Your videos move along when you change your username.
Your plan decides how many videos you may add, how big one file may be and how much storage you have. The line above the upload box shows what's left. The largest file anyone can add here is 20 GB.
Plans count how many videos you added, not how many you have now, so deleting doesn't give an upload back. Upgrade, or ask the admin to reset your account.
Choose the same file again: it continues where it stopped. Keep the page open while uploading.
Almost all: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI, MTS, WMV, FLV and more. If your browser can't play a format, the app makes a playable copy first.
Never. Cutting only remembers where your markers are; exporting makes new files.
Only you. The admin of this site can open videos when needed (for example to help you); they're on a separate screen, not mixed with the admin's own videos.
Use the buttons above the timeline (on a phone: the bottom bar). T Text adds text at the playhead, CC Subtitles writes subtitles automatically, 🖼 Photo adds a picture and ▣ Overlay puts a video or photo on top. Drag text and overlays on the preview to place them. Select a block for filters, zoom keyframes ◆ and transitions.
Put the playhead where it should start and press 🎙 Record voice-over in the Sound card (in a project: the 🎙 Voice-over button). After 3-2-1 it records while the video plays; press Stop. It lands as a sound block under the video. If the browser asks, allow the microphone. Use headphones if you want to hear the video while recording.
Yes: in the Sound card under "Take the sound out" choose the whole video, your edit or one part, MP3 or WAV, then Download or Save to my sounds. Saved sounds are under "Your sounds" on the home screen and can be used in any video or project.
Mark 3–5 real snaps as examples under "Snap fingerprint" so only clicks that sound like them are kept, and use "Background noise" to teach it the noise in your room. Raise or lower the sensitivity under "Detection".
The browser preview jumps between parts; with many tiny parts it stutters. The exported video is smooth.
YouTube: 16:9. TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts: 9:16. Instagram feed: 4:5 or square 1:1. You can pick several at once.
One video joins all kept parts (with your effects). Each part as its own clip makes a separate file per part; download them all at once with Download ZIP.
Long or big videos take a while, especially in several formats at once. "Smaller file" in the Export window is faster to download. You can keep using the app while it works.
The app was restarted while your export was running. Just click Export again.
Usually very good for clear speech. Music, noise and several people talking at once make it harder. Always read them through once and fix any wrong word by typing in the line. The admin can choose a bigger speech model for better results (slower).
No. Speech recognition runs on the computer this app runs on. Only the speech model itself is downloaded once.
On a normal processor, speech recognition takes about as long as the video, or longer with a big model. An NVIDIA graphics card makes it many times faster. Only one video is done at a time, so you may wait for someone else's first.
They're moved automatically when you export. In the editor the lines stay at their place in the original video, so they match while you play it.
No. The sound keeps its normal pitch at every speed, so nobody sounds like a chipmunk.
Effects are used when exporting One video, not for separate clips, and need the Effects right in your plan.
